A. Marshall Hospitality

A. Marshall Hospitality, a family-owned and operated hospitality business in middle Tennessee, has been an SPR client since 2010. Started by Andy Marshall in 1998 as a small-town grocery store with a popular local music scene, the A. Marshall family of restaurants and hospitality concepts has grown to include Puckett’s Gro. & Restaurants in downtown Franklin, downtown Nashville, downtown Murfreesboro, downtown Columbia, downtown Chattanooga and Pigeon Forge; Americana Taphouse (formerly Puckett’s Boat House) and Scout’s Pub, both in Franklin; Puckett’s Trolley, the brand’s mobile venue; Hattie Jane’s Creamery in downtown Columbia and downtown Murfreesboro; and Deacon’s New South in the Life & Casualty Tower, an iconic downtown Nashville skyscraper located a block away from Puckett’s.

As A. Marshall continues to grow, SPR works hard to ensure that the company’s brand continues to reflect its down home, Southern roots; that it is recognized as an active and passionate participant in the community with a staff of folks who will greet you by name. That, along with home-cooked food and quality live shows on a regular basis, make it widely known that the doors to any A. Marshall concept are open to all.

“A. Marshall Hospitality is my family’s business, and the Sheridan team is an extension of our family,” said Claire Crowell, the company’s chief operating officer. “They are in the trenches with us daily and are as invested in our success as we are.”

As representatives of A. Marshall Hospitality, SPR engages with more than 153K social media followers on a daily basis and is tasked with real-time distribution of company news to local media, promotion of events sponsored and/or hosted by the company or its restaurants, and ensuring that the company’s talented and innovative team is recognized for its many successes and achievements.

For the last five years straight, A. Marshall Hospitality has been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest growing companies. The company was also the winner of Nashville Business Journal's 2015 and 2018 Best In Business Award, and a 2016 Williamson County Impact Award recipient for the third year in a row. Individual A. Marshall team members also boast an impressive number of awards, including Andy Marshall’s recognition by the Nashville Business Journal as one of Nashville’s Most Admired CEOs in 2015, 2016 and 2017 and the 2017 Restaurateur of the Year by the Tennessee Hospitality and Tourism Association. Claire Crowell has received the Greater Nashville Hospitality Association’s Young Professional Emerging Leader of the Year award (2016) and the Nashville Business Journal’s prestigious 40 Under 40 and Women of Influence awards in 2016 and 2017, respectively.

In addition to a host of accolades, SPR has also led the effort on behalf of A. Marshall to garner impressive media attention, including Puckett’s Gro. mentions by USA Today, New York Post, TIME magazine, The Washington Post; Food Network and Travel Channel; Homestead Manor mentions in People magazine and Country Living; Puckett’s Boat House stories in Redbook and on Fox News; Hattie Jane’s Creamery on NBC’s TODAY Show, numerous cable television appearances and countless features by local media outlets.
